You have probably noticed a couple of changes in my blog theme since I started this new blog. I have finally settled on the WordPress Theme called WP-Smooth 1.0 by Solostream.

So far it is a dream to configure and use which in my case is a big plus. I know a reasonable amount to do with design and have some basic knowledge of html coding etc but I certainly do not classify myself as a computer wiz by any stretch of the imagination (I leave that to my husband who is a computer guru). Anything too complicated only serves to confuse and frustrate me.

This particular theme suits me perfectly and its ease of use is an even bigger plus.

Now that the set up of my new blog is finally complete, I can concentrate on adding more information and I look forward to sharing my personal journey with you via my blog.

My WordPress Theme for my Blog

I have added a simple Google translation tool to the right sidebar of my blog which easily translates pages into your preferred language. You will also find this tool at the bottom of each page of my Madam Zebra website.

It looks like this:

To translate a page:

1. Go to the page you want to translate.
2. Select your choice of language.
3. The page will be automatically translated!
4. Now you can enjoy reading the page in your own language!

At the top of the translated page you will find a link which will take you back to the original English page if you wish. You can also mouse over the translated text to view in the original language.

This tool now makes my blog and my website more accessible to people of every nationality whose knowledge of written English may be very limited.

Translating pages into your own language

Welcome to my new look blog which I have been busy working on for the last few days. I have been running like mad to get it to the stage where I can finally publish and start writing regularly here.

I like the clean, simple design which is easier to read without the clutter of my old blog design.

Now that this is finally set up, stayed tuned as I continue to post new content with things of interest and happenings in my life.
