Zebra themed website design

How is this for a brilliant website concept using a “Zebra” theme. AND it is in my home land – Australia! Check out: Red Publicity.
Their promotional e-movie is also funky and informative.
The description on their ‘Our Zebra‘ page is most enlightening in regard to their choice of animal to represent their business.
About the Zebra
The Red Publicity logo, like our work, is bold with personality to ensure public notice!
The Red Publicity and Green Publicity corporate identity, uses a zebra to show that something which people perceive to be a certain way (in this case, black and white) can stand out from the crowd when given the right angle and strategy.
Not only that, but the pattern of stripes on all zebras are unique to each individual – a bit like the human fingerprint. So by using the zebra as part of our identity, Red Publicity demonstrates a commitment to individual approaches and strategies for each client – because we know that a ‘one size fits all’ approach isn’t effective across a broad range of industries and products.
I love the simplicity yet bold design which makes a fabulous, intentional statement about Red Publicity. There are two areas of focus represented by the two different coloured zebras: the ‘Red Zebra’ represents publicity and copyright of businesses in general, and the ‘Green Zebra’ is used for “raising the profile of businesses with an environmentally sustainable focus.” How beautifully appropriate. On top of that, those who have studied colour theory, will understand that red and green are known as “complementary colours” and when placed together, make each seem brighter. That is why the two colours do not clash when they appear near or next to one another.
This is a professional yet funky website design. It is eye catching and full of personality which was exactly their intention. Unlike Zebras in real life which do blend into their herd, these two definitely stand out from the crowd and make a statement!
